Operation Brave
Hearts' - Recruitment of physically
challenged people
'In
our endeavor to contribute to the noble cause of social welfare as a TATA Group
company, at SerWizSol, we have taken the initiative of providing career
opportunities to the physically challenged segment of the society. By
commissioning Operation Brave Hearts, in consultation with NGOs and other
organizations for physically challenged people, we have approached the
prospective candidates with a proposal to consider employment at SerWizSol as a
career option.
The entire organization was oriented towards recognizing this segment of
competencies and the social responsibility we would accomplish. We deployed a
systematically planned approach. Challenges the prospective candidates faced
such as mindset issues, lack of exposure to BPO operations, confidence, were
independently addressed and managed.
Having received a very good response, we today have on board 54 physically
challenged people, whom we call Brave Hearts, they have undergone extensive
training and are managing calls in our contact centers operations across
Hyderabad, Pune and Mohali in India.
The Brave Hearts have proven to everyone that they are 'differently' enabled
and we are proud to have provided the platform

Partnership with CRY
Every child has a right to childhood. It is a belief SerWizSol
shares with CRY (Child Rights and You). Endeavoring to bring smiles on the
faces of the underprivileged children and to spread the awareness of their
basic rights, SerWizSol has partnered with CRY. SerWizSol provides
office space to CRY employees within its premises in Pune and in Hyderabad
along with workstations, computers with internet access, phone lines, and
access to other common facilities like fax machines, photocopier machines and
printers. This helps CRY save the office setup cost. From time to time SeWizSol
also organizes programmes to raise funds and generate awareness.

Project
511- Adopting economically backward schools
Schools
in the economically backward regions, which have scare amenities to provide the
students with a good ambience to pursue their education welcome help of any
kind coming their way. Project 511 initiative is about an organization adopting
such schools and working towards improving the prevalent conditions in the
schools in terms of infrastructure, basic amenities.
At SerWizSol, we have identified one such school and worked closely with its
management by providing not only financial assistance but also voluntary help
for student engagement programmes. The financial assistance addressed problems
of clean drinking water, seating infrastructure in the classrooms, insufficient
lighting illumination, in sufficient canteen arrangements to implement the
Government's mid-day meal scheme. While SerWizSol employees volunteered several
activities such as counseling sessions covering students and parents, academic
help, conducting sports and cultural activities.

Blood
donation camps
The SerWizSol team periodically organizes voluntary blood donation camps, which
receives very active response from employees at all levels.
HelpAge India sales support
HelpAge India is an organization that works for the cause and care of
disadvantaged older citizens and to improve their quality of life. HelpAge
India in collaboration with SerWizSol, promotes its various products such as
greeting cards, gift items. The proceeds from the sales go towards funding the
projects the organization undertakes.
Asha:
Voluntary services for education of underprivileged children
At SerWizSol, we are also involved in the activities conducted by Asha, a
voluntary organization that works towards providing basic education with the
belief that it is critical requisite in providing socio-economic change.
Enthusiastic volunteers from SerWizSol, participate in various programs Asha
conducts.
