During the last twenty years
he has shouldered a range of responsibilities in |

India as well as
overseas. Starting his career as a Software Engineer in TCS,
he has been a Project Leader, a Group Leader and an Overseas
Regional Manager representing TCS in the USA. During this tenure
as Regional Manager, he was responsible for major growth of
TCS’ business in the United States and the initiation
of major relationships for TCS with several Multi National Organisations.

Mr. Ramanan has been exposed to a wide range
of software and hardware |

environment ranging
from the Mainframe to Client Server technologies. He has been
particularly associated with the growth of Telecom and Networking
practice of TCS in USA, UK, Europe. |

He was associated with the development of
an indigenous LAN product |
| |
|
FALCON, and received an award
from the Computer Society of India for the best indigenous product
in India in 1986. |

He has been an invited keynote speaker at
Seminars pertaining to Data |

|
Communications in Switzerland,
Geneva, France, UK and India. He has published papers on Communications
and Networking in major international conferences.

Mr. Ramanan is a strategic member of the
TBEM initiative with special focus |

on “Customer Market Focus”,
overall responsible for implementing various quality initiatives
in TCS Bangalore, which is operating at SEI CMM Level 5 and
is an ISO 9001 certified Delivery Center. |
