MR. R K Krishna Kumar
Mr. R K Krishna Kumar completed his Masters Degree in Politics and
Public Administration in 1962 with a first class first rank from the
Presidency College, Madras University. He joined the Tata Administrative
Service (TAS) in 1963.
Mr. R K Krishna Kumar served several Tata Companies which include
Tata Services, Tata Tea, The Indian Hotels Company Limited and Tata
Sons Ltd.
He joined Tata Finlay in 1965, which subsequently became Tata Tea.
He is currently the Vice Chairman of Tata Tea, the Chairman of the
Tetley Group UK and the Vice Chairman of The Indian Hotels Company
Limited. He was appointed as a Director of Tata Sons Ltd. the principal
holding company of the Tata Group in January 2002 and is a member
of the Group Corporate Centre of the House of Tatas.
Mr. Krishna Kumar is a member of other Boards including Tata Coffee
Limited, Barista Coffee Co., Tata International etc. He is also a
Trustee of the India Brand Equity Foundation, the GIVE Foundation
and the Asia Heart Foundation, apart from being a Trustee of the Sri
Ratan Tata Trust.
